What To Expect For Your First  Visit

New Client Evaluation

Given the variety of treatment options available, it is vital to conduct an evaluation before starting any form of treatment. This allows us to determine the most suitable approach for your needs. An evaluation helps us collect essential information about your health history, symptoms, and discomfort, ensuring we are well-prepared before beginning any treatment.

By gathering this information, we can identify potential risk factors, contraindications, and precautions that may influence the selection of treatments or exercises during each session. Additionally, it helps us understand your goals and expectations from therapy.

During the evaluation, we will discuss the muscles of your face and orofacial complex. These muscles are crucial for functions such as swallowing, speaking, and facial expressions.

If necessary, we will assess muscular strength, range of motion, and endurance using various techniques during this visit. These techniques may include manual muscle testing, measuring joint range of motion, evaluating endurance through repetitive movements, and observing for any signs of fatigue or pain.

*If you are online and seeking ONLINE Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy Treatment,  Treatment needs to be paid in full so we can get your kit out to you in a timely manner.
